Policys

We have been happily serving the needs of our customers since July of 2007. Prior to that we were raising and weaning Parrots. While we no longer raise Parrots, we count many satisfied customers who we are more then happy to share our knowledge and experience with.

We are pleased to participate in Bird clubs around the country in whatever manner we can. If you are a member of a Bird club that we do not offer a discount to or sponsor during your meetings or conventions please let us know.

We use the above information to fulfill orders placed by you, and/or to contact you with questions or concerns regarding your order.

We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To The Security of Your Data:

We will never sell, rent or in any way make available your information outside of theparrotstore.com and its affiliated businesses. We periodically mail out a newsletter, we follow the Can-Spam act and you may unsubscribe at any time.



Shipping:

Shipment costs are based on weight, ground UPS. Occasionally we will ship USPS. Inquire about alternate shipping if available. We ship internationally, see below concerning possible customs duty or import taxes.

For all 2nd day or next day orders placed after 2pm, contact us at support@theparrotstore.com to determine if your order may ship that day. Orders placed after 2pm may not ship till the next day.

If there was shipping damage to your order please let the driver know at time of delivery. We package your items with the utmost care but the handling of the packages once they leave our facility is beyond our control. We can assist with your claim if you have issues with the shipping company.

We have no control over customs or duty taxes that might be imposed on international orders. We do not collect these fees nor or we able to estimate or tell you if in fact you might be responsible for them. Please check with your Countries appropriate agency if you have any questions. Orders refused because of duty taxes are not considered returns and a refund is not issued.



Return and Exchange Policies:

We accept returns with the exceptions listed here and there is a 15% restocking fee.

A return must be initiated within 14 days of receipt and the item must be returned to us within 30 days of receipt.

Any opened item, bird carrier, clothing, harness, books/DVD's, cage, cage cover or playstand will not be returnable.

Please contact us for an RMA number and the return shipping address. Any item returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

We encourage you to send back merchandise with delv. confirmation/tracking, we can not be responsible for lost merchandise.

Any item returned purchased with a free shipping offer will have the shipping cost deducted. Shipping costs are not refundable. Special orders, are not returnable. Orders that qualified for a discount based on order total will have the discount deducted if it makes the remaining balance invalid for the discount.

Defective merchandise will be replaced or repaired. Please contact us to determine if the product needs to be returned prior to exchange.
